Switch off in an elegant old country house in the heart of green Provence and its vineyards, beautifully arranged and decorated by very welcoming hosts Martina and Claude. The “Angels” and “Honeymoon” B&B rooms are havens of peace for a couple, with their exquisite comfort and decoration. They are equipped with a double bed and their own bathroom or shower room. The former Templars’ farm also has a large poo and sauna, and your hostess only serves local Provencal cuisine. After dinner, you can enjoy the summer sunsets on the terrace
This stay is a perfect opportunity to discover the picturesque surrounding villages, starting with nearby Bras. You’ll enjoy a shaded patio, a reading/video/leisure room, and a large kitchen cum living room. The buildings are set in the middle of a 450-acre estate of gardens, vineyards, alfalfa fields and wooded hills, a permanent invitation to walking and contemplation.
In 2012, the guesthouse was certified with the EU-Ecolabel The renovation and decoration was implemented over time with an effort towards reducing environmental impact. For instance, its efficient roof, window and wall insulation saves heating exertion and, above all, cancels out the need for air conditioning. Instead, there is a reversible heat pump and photovoltaic panels.
Claude is a Corporate Social Responsibility consultant, particularly in the field of energy. The savings made with current equipment is reinvested into additional works aimed at reaching the target zero CO2 emission. No chemicals are used in meals consisting of local produce. There is also an electric vehicle on the grounds and outdoor construction (i.e. dry stone walls) is done by a traditional stone mason.
The property has also been planted with different hard wood trees, a total of 3000, to contribute to reducing its carbon footprint.
