Hubert’s eco-friendly forest huts are surrounded by chestnut and hazelnut trees in private forest. Guests have the optimal setting to recharge their batteries from the fresh forest air. The two huts are a spacious 30m² each and can house between 4 to 6 people.
The Captain’s cabin:
Kick back with a beverage or doze off in the hammock outdoors or an one the chairs on your terrace. Enjoy the fire from the wood-burning stove from one of the sofas. The interior decoration of the wooden hut reflects the name “Captain”.
The mountain creek hut is situated at the edge of a small pond fed by a mountain stream at the foot of a lush valley. It boasts the same facilities as the captain’s captain save for the wood-burning stove.
The huts were built by Hubert himself and insulated by a range of ecological material such as wood, lime, straw and cork. All materials were sourced on site, so that the lodgings blend with their surroundings. The eco-friendly forest huts are equipped with dry toilets. Water is treated by natural filters made from reeds. A wood-burning stove allows you to enjoy pleasant warmth. There is no electricity of course, only oil lamps and candles. The hot water is heated in a 40-litre DHW cylinder.
