Sustainability criteria
The huts were built by Hubert himself and insulated by a range of ecological material such as wood, lime, straw and cork. All materials were sourced on site, so that the lodgings blend with their surroundings. The eco-friendly forest huts are equipped with dry toilets. Water is treated by natural filters made from reeds. A wood-burning stove allows you to enjoy pleasant warmth. There is no electricity of course, only oil lamps and candles. The hot water is heated in a 40-litre DHW cylinder.
