Nestled in an oasis park on the French trails of the Way of St. James, Violette offers you a natural holiday of respite on her farm in her two modern holiday apartments, where the bathtubs contain hydromassage showers. Both are on the first floor of her cottage, each consisting of 2 double rooms, and a living room with a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area (63m² each). The nearby village of Montbrun-Lauragais is nationally reknowned for its architectural heritage.
Catch a glimpse of Toulouse, which makes part of the breathtaking view of the area from your balcony. You can enjoy the view from indoors as you sit in front of the fireplace. The bathroom comes with a hairdryer and washing machine. Yes, there is Wi-Fi but the estate itself allows you to have a barbecue on the terrace and experience the *saltwater pool * and hiking paths at your doorstep for some outdoor fun and relaxation.
Violette is a member of the Grains de Pollen association for local agricultural projects and environmental awareness, and mixes elements of luxury into a bioclimatic concept. The farmhouse was renovated from high quality ecological material such as marble, claybrick from Toulouse, terracotta and limestone among others. To reduce heating costs, the walls were doubly insulated with hemp and gypsum fibreboards.
Thermoregulation from special vegetation on the exterior walls keeps the inside temperature pleasant throughout the year. Guests always have additional warmth from a geothermal heating system and warm water from her solar panels. Her saltwater pool is the better alternative to a traditional chlorinated pool for your skin and hair.
Your host would be delighted to fill you in on the local jogging routes in the oasis park and encourages you to visit both the local farmers’ coop she helped to set up and the village’s organic market.
